Hey, I'm Sanne — a 30-year-old Product Designer from the Netherlands. Eczema, irritable bowl syndrome and an anaphylactic reaction to nuts and kiwi are some of the things I've dealt with for most of my life. While sometimes challenging, I've lived a relatively normal life — these issues were a part of me, and I accepted them as something I had to live with.

Over the course of one year, this has changed drastically. Though I'm not completely symptom free all of the time, I now have a much better understanding of my body, and what it needs to function. Many hours of research helped me conclude that my eczema turned out to be topical steroid withdrawal (my skin reacting to the hydrocortisone cream that is supposed to help reduce eczema) and the irritable bowl was actually caused by small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO).

Though everybody is different, I've found reading about people's experiences helpful in finding the root causes to my own issues. So I decided to write — hoping I can help just a few people on their journey to improving their health and lives. I've created a space for members only, where I can share unfiltered stories and keep you in the loop. (You'll only ever be emailed when I've written something new and can unsubscribe any time.) See you on the other side!
